Enfield is London’s northernmost borough. It covers an area of 31.74 square miles which makes it one of the city’s largest boroughs. It is also one of London’s most populous areas with an estimate population of 325.000. Enfield is home to several internationally known places of interest, entertainment venues and schools. It is also the location of some of the British capital’s most desirable residential districts.
The area of Botany Bay, EN2, lies in the northwestern parts of the borough. It is one of London’s least populous neighbourhoods with approximately 200 residents. The Botany Bay Cricket Club is beyond any doubt the district’s most notable site. The club shares with facilities with the Old Garchonians Football Club and the Botany Bay Pentanque Club. The area is also home to several well-known music venues such as the Bay Jazz Club, Bigboppas Rock n Roll Club and the Jazz Supper Club. Botany Bay is linked to the remainder of the city by several bus routes which pass through it on a regular basis.
Crews Hill is a small districts which is situated on the northern outskirts of London at exactly twelve miles from the noted junction of Charing Cross. It has a population of about 600 and just like Botany Bay is one of the capital’s greenest and least populated neighbourhoods. The area is the location of the prominent Crews Hill Golf Course which was established in 1916. The Whitewebbs Museum of Transport is another well-known and highly visited local landmark. Crews Hill, EN2, is served by its own railway station which was opened in 1910 and sits on the Hertford Loop Line from the National Rail Network. The latest numbers show that it is being used by approximately 120.000 people annually.
The district of Arnos Grove, N14, is located on the border that separates the Borough of Enfield from the Borough of Barnet. Arnos Park is arguably the area’s most famous place of interest. The green space spreads over 44 acres and was once part of the Arnos Grove Estate. It is converted into a public park during the late 1920s when it was acquired by the Southgate Council. The Arnos Park Viaduct is the green area’s most notable structure. It comprises of 34 arches and carried the Piccadilly Line. Arnos Grove is also home to two of the city’s most beautiful churches: The Parish Church of St. Paul and Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Church. Several top tier educational facilities are situated within the district including Broomfield School which was founded in 1938 and presently provides secondary education to 600 students.
Brimsdown lies in the northeastern parts of the borough and is home to the highly acclaimed Enfield College which was established in 2009 with the merger of the College of North East London and Enfield College. It is one of the finest higher education facility in the English capital and among its most notable alumni are:

The area is served by the Brimsdown Railway Station which dates back to the mid-1880s and presently sits on the Lee Valley Lines of the National Rail Network. It is expected that it will commence to serve Line 2 from the Crossrail in the upcoming years. The station provided transportation services to almost one million passengers on a yearly basis.
Edmonton is one of Enfield’s largest and most populous districts. It is home to approximately 100.000 people and lies at about nine miles from the junction of Charing Cross. The Millfield Theatre is certainly the area’s most prominent entertainment venue. It was founded in 1988 and was the subject of a major renovation and remodeling project in 2009. The theatre is owned, funded and managed by the London Borough of Enfield and stages a variety of plays throughout the year. It has a maximum capacity of 362 seats. All Saint’s Church is another popular local building. It dates back to the 15th century and sits on the same site where once stood a 12th century church. At the moment it is the oldest edifice in Edmonton, N18, and one of the oldest building in the borough.
